Having spent 17 years of being in motion, not tending to his needs, expectations or his marriage, Joshua Barber found himself seeking love outside of himself—eventually leading to an affair, followed by a divorce.

He has spent his most recent years diving into his desires and mending relationships with his children and more importantly, his own self. All of which is no easy feat but has proven to be incredibly rewarding and illuminating for what is most important in life—nurturing our relationship with Self and giving our best to those we choose to love.

Joshua and I dive into...

→ His painful path to learning unconditional love for himself
→ The selfless act of self-care and becoming whole for those around us
→ Healing parent-child relationship post affair and divorce
→ The split of his church community and soothing with drugs and alcohol
→ A wounded, abusive relationship with his father
